Job Description

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa [CCBA] is the largest African Coca-Cola Bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda Limited is a subsidiary of CCBA. We are currently seeking to recruit an Account Developer

As an Account Developer, you will report directly to the Area Sales Manager

Key Purpose Statement

To deliver Volume and Revenue growth in relevant channels to grow customer base and manage accounts

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Account Development: Partner with key account customers to develop and execute a customer-specific business plan.
  • Quality Management: Ensure compliance with Quality Standards and Manage Trade Replacements.
  • Promotions: Implement promotional plans
  • Merchandising: Execute Implementation of Picture of Success by channel
    • Implement stock rotation
    • Execute dealer merchandising training
  • Order Generation: Sell in Core packs as per Picture of Success
    • Orders calculated and captured
    • Achieve Sales Targets
    • Manage New Product Listings
  • Manage volume and revenue growth on behalf of the bottler system by category for stills (
  • Negotiates permanent, promotional, and ad hoc space with customer
  • Report promotional deviances with Store Owners/managers
  • Execute Promotional Compliance
  • Monitor competitive activities

Skills, Experience & Education

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or any Business Management related qualification

Experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years of previous sales experience or equivalent FMCG experience
