Job Description

Location        Arua

Duration        23 Months

Purpose of the Job

The incumbent shall be responsible to train youth in market oriented technical, entrepreneurial and managerial skills, confidence building and skills necessary to enhance their potentials and sustainable earning. He/she would be responsible to conduct Basic Business Skills training Training, Pre & Post test assessment, Training Evaluation, Assessment and evaluation of business ideas etc.

Key Functions/Responsibilities

 Assist and mentor students in areas including development of business plans CCB Technologies, problem solving, market planning and risk

  • Deliver basic business entrepreneurship training by using an existing Training manual
  • Conduct pre and post assessments and drawing its analysis to inform decision making by the project team
  • Identify gaps and take lead in designing and delivery of business development services for the CCB beneficiaries
  • Engage trainees actively in the training through multiple innovative training methodologies to maximize training
  • Develop and share detailed training schedule with the Project manager
  • Lead the process of verifying business ideas for seed funding
  • Mentor beneficiaires as they graduate with their technologies into the market
  • Develop training reports with support of Training Officer to cover each & every segment of trainings.
  • Manage trainees’ performance evaluation (formative & summative) and submit reports

both hard & soft copies within one week of evaluation.

  • Guide and direct CCB project participants in developing feasible business plans around CCB technologies developed
  • Work closely with participants to ensure they refine a feasible proposal for their activities that demonstrates an appropriate timeline and budget for proposed activities; completed in consultation with the Training Centre Manager to ensure compliance with available resources
  • In consultation with the Centre Manager hold quarterly implementation meetings with CCB coordinatos and facilitators from the Innovation Centres

Job Specifications/Requirements

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Microfinance,Economics, Entereprenureship or any related field from a reputable institution
  • At least 3 years experience in conducting entrepreneurship trainings
  • Excellent Computer Skills (MS Office) is mandatory
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills are must
